December 1-2024, Dr. Malek Alsharairi, Vice President of the GJU, inaugurated the "Family Library" exhibition, one of the Kingdom's prominent cultural events. The exhibition was organized by the GJU Library in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Culture. This event coincides with the 18th edition of the "Reading for All" festival and is part of the celebrations marking the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein's ascension to the throne.

The exhibition featured a diverse collection of books covering various fields such as literature, arts, sciences, history, and philosophy, in addition to children's literature and youth books, all aimed at meeting the interests of readers from different age groups and cultural backgrounds. It also showcased the latest publications issued by the Ministry of Culture, with these books offered at symbolic prices, making them accessible to all.

The exhibition witnessed a great turnout from students, faculty, and staff of all ages, reflecting strong support for culture and reading, and highlighting the Jordanian community's deep interest in literature and culture.

GJU’s hosting of this exhibition is part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of reading and encourage students to engage with knowledge by providing such distinguished cultural events. This exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to create an environment that fosters the exchange of ideas and enhances cultural awareness among students and the local community.
