Amman, December 1, 2024 – The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship at the German Jordanian University (DI-TECH@GJU), in collaboration with the Jordanian Center for Design and Development (JODDB), organized an introductory session on the “JODDB Innovation Hub” platform. The session was attended by Dr. Nidal Al-Shwawreh, Dean of the Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship at the university, along with Eng. Radi Al-Wardat and Mr. Ahmed Farihat, representatives from JODDB.
The session aimed to highlight the platform’s role in supporting innovation and advancing scientific research in fields such as artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and cybersecurity. The importance of developing innovative projects that serve both local and international markets was also emphasized.
The session included a discussion segment on how to benefit from the platform and the criteria for selecting supported projects. A video was shown to clarify the registration process on the platform. The speakers emphasized the role of the German Jordanian University as a link between academic education and industrial application.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the importance of partnerships in supporting innovation and scientific development, contributing to enhancing Jordan's position as a leader in defense and technological industries.
