The students from the Design and Visual Communication Department at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at the German Jordanian University (GJU) visited the Royal Film Commission (RFC) in a field trip aimed at enhancing their knowledge of film production and visual content creation.
During the visit, Mr. Bashar Abu Nawar, Director of Production Services at the Royal Film Commission, delivered a detailed presentation covering the nature of the RFC's work and its role in developing the film industry in Jordan. He also highlighted the services provided to support creatives, such as facilitating access to filming locations, providing guidance and production resources, as well as offering training workshops and technical consultations.

The visit provided the students with a unique opportunity to understand the practical aspects of filmmaking and explore opportunities for collaboration between the RFC and academic institutions, supporting student talent and transforming their creative ideas into real projects.
The students praised the importance of this visit in expanding their understanding of the role of visual communication in filmmaking, expressing their eagerness to benefit from the RFC’s expertise to further develop their creative skills and enhance their future projects.
