The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Special Communications Commission in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces signed a cooperation agreement to enhance partnership in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (AIoT), which are among the most rapidly evolving technologies worldwide.

The university was represented by its president, Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli, and the Special Communications Commission was represented by Brigadier Eng. Shadi Al-Khashashneh, the signing ceremony was attended by Vice President Prof. Malek Alsharairi, Dean of Scientific Research at the university Professor Prof. Rami Alazrai, and the Director of the Consulting and Training Center, Mr. Osama Hanandeh.

The agreement aims to develop joint research projects between the two parties, in addition to exchanging expertise and knowledge between academics and researchers in these fields. It also seeks to create an innovative environment that supports technological development in Jordan, contributing to the optimal utilization of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things technologies in various vital sectors such as health, education, and industry.
