The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Alaadeen Al-Halhouli, patronized the opening ceremony of the University School Challenge Championship Finals, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) through the Society Club.

Vice President Prof. Malek Alsharairi, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Thelal Owais, and a large number of students attended the event.

In his speech, Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the significance of such activities in fostering positive competition, developing students' skills and teamwork, and enriching their student experience.

For her part, Dr.Thelal Owais, Dean of Student Affairs, welcomed the attendees and reaffirmed the deanship’s commitment to organizing extracurricular activities that promote student engagement and constructive competition.

She highlighted how such initiatives align with the deanship’s vision to create an interactive university environment that encourages active student participation, praising the enthusiasm and sportsmanship demonstrated by the participants.

The finals featured teams representing the university’s eight schools, with intense competition leading to the championship match between the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) and the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT). In a thrilling final, SEEIT emerged victorious, securing the championship title after an impressive performance from both teams.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Oweis honored the winning teams and presented awards to the top-ranking participants in recognition of their dedication and outstanding performance.

Additionally, the deanship hosted a special Iftar for the participants, student club members, the Student Parliament, and the "Ushers" team, fostering an atmosphere of solidarity and celebration of student achievements.
