The Director of the Center for Natural and Cultural Heritage at German Jordanian university, Prof. Nizar Abu Jaber, held a meeting with the Head of the Municipality of Madaba, His Excellency Mr. Aref Al-Rawajeh, at the municipality.
The meeting aimed to discuss aspects of mutual cooperation between the two parties in the field of heritage within the Madaba Governorate.
During the meeting, Her Excellency the Head of the Municipality praised the role of GJU in supporting the municipality and local communities through the university's various activities.
Prof. Abu Jaber highlighted the governorate's most important natural, archaeological, and heritage features, the importance of enhancing them by conducting joint projects, emphasizing the need to develop and build the capacities of municipal employees in these areas.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Head of the Municipality affirmed providing all necessary support to researchers and students from the German Jordanian University in their projects as it would reflect positively on the governorate and Jordan.
