In a step that reflects the spirit of innovation and excellence embraced by students of the German Jordanian University (GJU), two promising student teams represented the university at the FinTech Hackathon organized by JoPACC – Jordan, achieving outstanding results.

The participation was a result of a unique collaboration between the School of Business and the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT). The two teams demonstrated remarkable competence from the outset of the competition, successfully qualifying for the final stage after a fierce contest with top students from Jordanian universities.

After three days of intensive work and under the direct supervision of Mr. Abdelilah Al-Badour, the team Quantum Quants proudly secured second place in the technical evaluation and second place in the project idea evaluation.

The teams were formed under the joint supervision of Prof. Alaa Fathi Khalifa, Advisor to the President for Campus Life and a faculty member at SEEIT, and Dr. Abdelilah Al-Badour from the School of Business — a collaboration that highlights the interdisciplinary approach embraced by the university.
