The School of Computing (SC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) concluded a specialized training workshop titled "Introduction to Cybersecurity Fundamentals," delivered by Prof. Loai Al-Sardi from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen in Germany. This workshop marked the final session in a series of four workshops held this year, under the supervision of Prof. Feras Al-Hawari and Eng. Lina Alzaatreh, as part of the Flying Faculty Program, funded by the GJU Project Office in Magdeburg.

The workshop was attended by 18 participants, including students and teaching assistants from the school, who received intensive training covering key fundamental concepts in cybersecurity and information protection techniques.

Dr. Al-Sardi praised the enthusiasm shown by participants throughout the workshop, noting that such training programs represent a valuable opportunity to develop technical competencies and deepen scientific understanding, thus preparing students to meet the growing challenges in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.

At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participants, who expressed pride in their commitment and efforts during the training program. They also commended the continuous support from the school administration and the Flying Faculty Program, which contributes to enhancing the academic and professional level of the students.
