The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a special orientation day for new students, aimed at introducing them to the deanship’s activities and student clubs, in the presence of representatives from the deanship. The event also highlighted the services provided on campus, familiarized students with the university environment, and fostered a spirit of connection and camaraderie among them.

A number of companies and institutions that offer various services to students took part in the event, along with representatives from the Al Hassan Youth Award, among other student-supporting entities.

The orientation day included presentations on the different student clubs, opportunities to join and engage in their activities, in addition to dialogue sessions, competitions, and a variety of events designed to enrich the university environment and inspire creativity and initiative among students.

Dr. Farah Al-Atrash, Dean of DSA, emphasized the pivotal role played by the deanship in supporting students and providing them with an environment conducive to excellence. She stressed the importance of student clubs in enriching the university experience and strengthening community engagement on campus.

This orientation day is part of DSA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the students’ university journey, and to build bridges of communication and interaction between students and various university sectors—contributing to a vibrant educational environment that empowers students to successfully achieve their academic and personal aspirations.
