A delegation from the German Jordanian University (GJU), led by Dr. Omar Albatayneh, Director of the Road Safety Center of Excellence (RSCE), and accompanied by Ms. Nelly Alabadi, visited the Jordanian Society for the Prevention of Road Accidents to explore avenues for collaboration in promoting road safety and reducing traffic-related incidents in Jordan.

During the visit, the delegation met with Eng. Wafa’i Mseas, Director of the Society, where both sides engaged in productive discussions on enhancing national efforts to address one of Jordan’s most pressing public safety challenges — road traffic accidents.

The meeting served as a stepping stone toward establishing a strategic partnership between GJU and the Jordanian Society for the Prevention of Road Accidents. The collaboration aims to focus on joint awareness campaigns, applied research initiatives, community outreach activities, and the development of innovative educational programs that promote safer driving behaviors and sustainable mobility solutions.

Both parties expressed their mutual commitment to advancing road safety education, improving public awareness, and contributing to national and community-level initiatives designed to reduce traffic accidents and save lives across the Kingdom.

Through this partnership, GJU continues to affirm its commitment to applied research and societal impact, positioning itself as a key contributor to Jordan’s efforts in building a safer, more responsible, and sustainable transportation culture.
