A delegation from the German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in the C8 Conference and Exhibition 2025, one of the region’s leading events focused on cybersecurity and emerging technologies. The event was held on November 19–20 with the participation of prominent experts, decision-makers, and innovators from across the region.

The C8 Expo—officially titled the C8 Conference and Exhibition for Advancement and Innovation in Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies 2025—is a leading platform that enables researchers, students, and institutions to explore the latest global trends in digital security, artificial intelligence, smart infrastructure, and modern technologies.

The first day featured the participation of four students from the School of Computing: Ibrahim Abu Malouh, Essam Alhammouri, Ghafer Khalfouni, and Abdullah Makani, accompanied by faculty members Dr. Amani Abu Jabal and Dr. Abdullah Alfarrarjeh, as well as Eng. Fatima Alzneimat representing the Information Systems and Technology Center.

The delegation toured the exhibition halls, engaged with exhibitors, and gained firsthand exposure to the latest innovations in cybersecurity and emerging technologies, while expanding their professional and academic networks. On the second day, four faculty members represented the university: Dr. Ammar Gharaibeh, Dean of the School of Computing; Prof. Sahel Alalawneh, who also served as a judge for the student project competition; Prof. Ala Khalifeh; and Prof. Dhiah el Diehn Abou-Tair. Their active participation underscored the university’s commitment to maintaining strong engagement with the technology sector and staying informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity and digital transformation.

GJU’s participation in the C8 Expo 2025 reflects its dedication to advancing technological excellence, fostering student innovation, and contributing to national and regional efforts to strengthen digital security and drive innovation across Jordan and the region.
