Dear Academic Staff,

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new eLearning System (Moodle 4.5).

The system is currently being released in a pilot phase, to allow academic staff to explore its new features and help identify any issues or areas for improvement before the official launch. During this period, we'd appreciate your feedback and suggestions, to help us ensure a smooth and successful transition.

The official adoption of Moodle 4.5 will begin in the First Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

As for the Summer Semester 2025/2026, coursework could be accessed through:

  1. The current Moodle 3.9 platform.

  2. The new Moodle 4.5 platform.

While both systems will remain available during this semester, we strongly encourage you to begin using Moodle 4.5, as early adoption will help you become familiar with the new interface and features. This ensures all feedback is addressed before the official launch, paving a smooth experience for both instructors and students in the upcoming academic year.

The new Moodle 4.5 platform is the result of a collaborative effort between the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) and the Information Systems and Technology Center (ISTC) to deliver an enhanced, secure, and more reliable eLearning environment for the university.

We highly appreciate your cooperation and encourage you to share your comments, suggestions, and any issues you encounter during this pilot phase. Your feedback is essential to the successful implementation of the new eLearning system.

Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.
