The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, received the Vice President for Planning, Development, and External Relations at Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU), Mr. Ayman Sultan Al-Tamimi, to discuss ways of strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two universities and expanding areas of partnership in several fields of mutual interest.
The meeting addressed prospects for collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship, student exchange, and the development of joint academic and research projects, contributing to advancing the quality of higher education, enhancing the exchange of expertise, and creating new opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions.
Al-Tamimi praised the distinguished relations between Palestine Polytechnic University and the German Jordanian University, expressing his appreciation to Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli for GJU’s continued support of joint activities and programs, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two sides.
He highlighted that one of the key aspects of this cooperation is GJU’s hosting of the summer school of the Strengthening Entrepreneurship Education and Development (SEED) project, which brings together students from both universities. The project is implemented in partnership between Palestine Polytechnic University and Technische Universität Berlin, with support and funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), aiming to develop students’ entrepreneurial skills and foster a culture of innovation.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing to implement joint initiatives and programs, and developing sustainable academic and research partnerships that contribute to preparing qualified graduates capable of competing regionally and internationally, while strengthening the position of both universities in the fields of education, research,
