The German Jordanian University (GJU) organized its second Open Day at its main campus in Al-Mushqar, with wide participation from high school students and their parents. The event aimed to introduce visitors to the university’s academic majors and programs and provide them with a closer look at its educational model, as well as the academic and practical opportunities it offers its students.
The Open Day witnessed notable engagement from students and parents, who had the opportunity to learn about the university’s various academic majors, their study structures, and admission requirements. They also had the chance to raise questions about university life and the opportunities available to students during their studies and after graduation.
The event brought together the university’s various colleges, departments, and administrative units, whose representatives introduced students and their parents to the available academic majors and programs, study plans, and key educational and practical opportunities. They also answered their inquiries and provided the necessary guidance on the available academic options.
Students also learned about the academic programs offered in cooperation with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) in Germany, particularly their strong connection to applied education and labor market needs. They were also introduced to the educational opportunities offered through the partnerships between the German Jordanian University and its German counterparts.
University representatives also highlighted the German Year Program, one of the key components of the university’s educational model. The program enables students to gain an academic and professional experience in Germany and engage with the country’s educational and industrial environments, contributing to the development of their practical and personal skills and enhancing their readiness for the labor market.
