"No matter how well we drive, we are not safe unless our vehicles are in good condition".
On Saturday 3rd of February 2018, the Road Safety Center of Excellence (RSCE) held its first awareness workshop entitled "An Introduction to Vehicles Maintenance and Safety" for female drivers, at the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) in Daret Othman Bdeir for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The workshop aims to familiarize the participants with the ins and outs of vehicles; chassis and subassemblies, various powertrain designs, brake system, steering system, suspension system, electrical and electronic systems and tires specifications.
Alumnus of the German Jordanian University (GJU) Eng. Amer Khataybeh conducted the workshop expressing that the vehicle safety forms a major factor in creating safer roads.
It is worthy to mention that Khataybeh has gained practical experience and international certificates from international training academies and car manufacturers, including High Performance Academy and Ford Motor Company.
