Students enrolled in the School of Languages (SAHL) program German and English for Business Communication (GEBC) were welcomed by officials from the Jordanian Parliament on March 27th, 2018.
The visit’s objective was to introduce GEBC to the practical side of the Jordanian Parliament in addition to their theoretical knowledge of the parliament which they were taught in their course Overview: Politics and Institutions.
As part of the visit, the students were invited to a live regulatory session where members of the parliament discussed and voted on issues proposed by ministries. They also observed how civil concern questions were answered in the parliament by ministers.
Thereafter, the students were welcomed to sit with the parliament member Dr. Musleh Al Tarawneh and ask him questions about the role of youth in the future of elections and the parliament in Jordan.
