Biography

Ziyad Masoud is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the German Jordanian University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA in 2000. His current research interests include nontraditional control systems for commercial cranes, vibration control of multimode systems, and design of infinitely variable transmissions for hybrid vehicles
