Wadi Rum Trip (March 8th)

The International Students Club, under the auspices of the Dean of Student Affairs and in collaboration with the International Affairs Department, organized a trip to Wadi Rum and Aqaba on Friday and Saturday, March 8th and 9th, 2024. School Challenge Event (April 4th)

The DSA will be hosting a school challenge between the different schools. teams of 3 students will represent their schools in this competition.  The final round will be this coming Thursday April 4th, 2024 from 4 pm to 630 pm. on the main Campus (Madaba). the winning team will receive prizes. this even will be  followed by iftar.

The department of Narcotics organized a workshop entitled "the Role of Student Affairs Deans and Educational Counselors in Drug Awareness." Orientation Day: March 6th

The DSA hosted an open for students where clubs were introduced by Representatives who showcased their work and mission.  Representatives from the DSA were also present to make sure everything went according to plan. Representatives from the Clinic also participated.  

Workshop: Drawing on Fabrics: March 9th

The Art club in collaboration with the DSA hosted a fabric drawing Event where the members taught other students how to draw on Fabrics.

OPEN DAY (March 6th) BUILDING C

In collaboration with the different Clubs at GJU, The DSA hosted an open day on the 6th of March, 2024. This included an orientation of new students to  the clubs and student activities plus the facilities in the deanship of Student Affairs. also, the students were be able to see what services the DSA provides.  Small businesses were also showcased.  The open day event was sponsored by Red

the Debate and Thought Community Annual Iftar (SABE)

Under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Ala'a Al-Halhooli, President of the German Jordanian University, the university hosted the annual iftar (breaking of fast) for the Debate and Thought Community on the premises of the German Jordanian University. The event was organized by the Debate and Thought Foundation.

Women's Day Event.

The DSA hosted an event on the 6th of March, 2024 for Women's Day in Auditorium C. from 1130-230 pm with the presence of Mrs. Reham Makhlouf: Co-Founder & CEO, TV presenter & producer, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, certified trainer, Public Relations Director at Jordan Youth Innovation Forum, experienced Independent Businesswomen.

Aqaba Tournaments

The German Jordanian University men's soccer team and Women's basketball team have participated in the tournament hosted in Aqaba from February 16th-19th.  other universities have also participated.

GJU's men's soccer team participated in the tournament which was hosted in  Aqaba from February 16th-19th. 21 universities participated in this event; among the universities are the University of Jordan, Yarmouk, Petra, Amman Ahlieyh, Petra, Princess Sumaya and others.

Adventure Traveler

The DSA hosted an event whereby an adventurer and hiker was a guest speaker and talked to students about his adventures and travels to the himalayas.

The winter drawing event

The DSA hosted an event for the children of academic and administrative staff over a week.  A graduation was also hosted at the end of the event.
