Advice on and Support of Bilateral Energy Partnerships with Developing and Emerging Countries Jordanian-German Energy Partnerships

This project is part of the Jordanian-German Energy Partnership and is managed by GIZ. The Energy Partnership was created as part of a central platform for dialogue on energy policy between Germany and Jordan.

The project is part of the global programme on Supporting Bilateral Energy Partnerships in Developing Countries and Emerging Economies. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is supporting the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in implementing and developing strategies for Energy Partnerships (EP) with Jordan as well as Algeria, Brazil, Chile, China, Ehtiopia, India, Morocco, Mexico, South Africa and Tunisia. GIZ is also involved in establishing new dialogue formats with other developing countries and emerging economies.

 

The main objective of the Jordanian-German Energy Partnership is driving the energy transition of both countries forward through constant political, economic, regulatory and technological exchange.
