The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by the students of the Community Peace Club, visited the Community Peace Center affiliated with the Public Security Directorate.
During the visit, students were introduced to the nature of the center's work, its activities, initiatives, and its role in raising community awareness. They also toured a photo exhibition showcasing the center’s achievements and efforts in promoting community peace. Both parties agreed to enhance collaboration between them.
It is worth noting that the establishment of the Community Peace Center is part of the Public Security Directorate's strategic plan to combat extremism and negative societal phenomena.
The center aims to create a centralized unit that unifies efforts to counter extremist ideologies, institutionalize awareness and prevention, and provide solutions to these threats. It emphasizes partnership and open communication channels with the local community to foster a sound and positive mindset at the national level.
