The E-Certificate Program at the German Jordanian University is a structured faculty development program designed to enhance digital teaching competencies and support high-quality online, blended, and AI-assisted education.
Delivered by the Center for E-Learning and Academic Performance Improvement (CeLAPI), the program equips academic staff with practical skills in digital pedagogy, instructional design, assessment, and effective use of learning technologies, in alignment with national requirements and international best practices.
Program Approach
The E-Certificate follows a stackable, competency-based learning model, where short modules accumulate toward formal certification. All modules are delivered through Moodle in a self-paced format, combining instructional videos, interactive activities, and applied assessments to ensure practical implementation in teaching.
