First, she heads out to the leafy Magdeburg campus to learn more about the role of h2 as an anchor point for the GJU project and about the project's various exchange programs from Carsten Behrend, a lecturer for special tasks at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences - of course, flavored with Carsten's very own experiences during his various stays in Jordan between 2019 and 2022. Near Würzburg, in Bad Mergentheim, she met with Professor Volker Siegismund from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University. From him, she learns about the background of his activities for the so-called subject networks of the GJU and German partner universities and also listens to his experiences on the Island of Peace. Both gentlemen make her want to take part in one of the various exchange programs herself, whether as a student, a lecturer or an administrative staff member.
