Aqaba City 9-14 February 2025
As part of the Kingdom’s celebrations marking the birthday of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, the German Jordanian University (GJU), in the presence of Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi, Vice President of GJU, participated in the 23rd Jordanian Universities Championship "Loyalty and Belonging" held in Aqaba organized by the Jordanian University Sports Federation.
The 5*5 football, badminton, and cross-country running teams represented the University in the championship.
The 5*5-Football team consisted of students: Laith Al-Faqih, Abdulrahman Omran, Youssef Al-Hamarsheh, Mustafa Aziz, Abdullah Abu Hamad, Mahmoud Abu Shukr, Ahmed Al-Qatawneh, Ahmed Barqawi, Ahmed Al-Khalayleh, Mustafa Hamdan and Coach Dr. Mustafa Allouzi.
The Badminton team consisted of students Yasmeen Abu Al-Haj, Anne Barto, Haneen Al-Souqi, and Coach Razan Khaled.
The Cross-Country Running team consisted of students Dina Omar, Maribel Fakhoury, Aya Sondah, and Coach Mais Al-Ajarmeh.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thelal Oweis, accompanied the delegation as its head, and Dr. Zeiad Hussein Al-Zoubi as its general administrator.
