Main Campus- 12- 17 September 2024

In cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom presented a series of specialized media workshops for students over a period of six days, with the participation of ten students from various specializations at the university.

This call aimed at strengthening students' skills in the digital communication and media ethics, as well as raise awareness about human rights-sensitive media and the challenges of dealing with disinformation.

The workshops touched on practical topics that benefit students in terms of content creation, skills needed in front of the camera, developing basic vocal skills, creative writing skills, and effective planning for video clips.

Upon completion of the program, the students participated in a two-day practical session in one of the local production companies to give them the opportunity to apply a practical and realistic application that reflects the knowledge and skills learned in the workshops to produce media projects.
