The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a ceremony to honor participants in the “Behi Nahya” competition for memorizing Surat Al-Kahf.

The event was conducted through Al-Dhad Club in collaboration with the Jordanian-German Center for Dentistry and Implantology.

The ceremony featured a welcoming speech by Dr. Omar Bataineh, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, who extended his gratitude to the sponsors and guests of the event. He also congratulated the competition participants and expressed his appreciation to the students for their dedication to activities that promote religious and ethical values.

The ceremony included a lecture titled “Quran Importance for Mental Health,” which explored the Quran's vital role in fostering psychological balance. The lecture emphasized the Quran’s holistic approach to all aspects of life, ensuring peacefulness and happiness.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Thelal Oweis honored the participants, Dean of Student Affairs, along with the Vice Dean and the President’s Advisor for University Life, Prof. Alaa Khalifa. Sixty participants, including students and members of the administrative and academic staff, were recognized for their participation.
