Wadi Rum & Aqaba 8-9 November 2024

In coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), the International Students’ Club organized an exciting two-day trip to Wadi Rum and Aqaba on Friday and Saturday, November 8-9, 2024. The trip brought together 40 students, offering them an opportunity to explore some of Jordan’s most iconic destinations.

The journey began with a visit to the breath taking landscapes of Wadi Rum. Students explored remarkable landmarks such as the Makeup Mountain and the famous Sand Dune Mountain. The group also enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the desert at sunset, creating unforgettable memories and capturing stunning photographs.

On the second day, the adventure continued in the coastal city of Aqaba, where students participated in a variety of optional activities. Some strolled through the historic old city, while others enjoyed a relaxing yacht tour along the Red Sea. After an enriching day of exploration and leisure, the group made their way back to the capital, Amman.

This trip was a wonderful blend of cultural exploration, social interaction, and natural beauty, reflecting the club’s commitment to fostering a sense of community among international students while introducing them to the rich heritage of Jordan.
