The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA), through the Business Club, organized an interactive lecture for students on logistics science and supply chain management. The aim was to provide students with comprehensive and practical knowledge in this field.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Imad Hatamleh, Head of the Logistics Science Department at the School of Business at the German Jordanian University (GJU). Dr. Hatamleh highlighted key topics, including the concept of logistics science, the role and importance of the field in supporting various sectors such as industry, trade, and services, as well as the interconnections between these sectors and strategies for effectively managing supply chains and operations.

Using practical examples, Dr. Hatamleh demonstrated applications of logistics science in areas like storage, transportation, inventory control, operations, procurement, and supply chain management. He also addressed the challenges facing logistics management, particularly in light of constant changes in the business environment, technological advancements, and crises, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability in management to overcome these challenges.

At the end of the lecture, Dr. Hatamleh answered students' questions and inquiries.
