As part of the activities organized by the Jordan Media Institute and in coordination with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the German Jordanian University hosted the Media and Information Literacy Caravan.
The caravan program aims to equip young people with digital citizenship skills and raise awareness about the dangers associated with misinformation by conducting awareness sessions on the importance of media literacy and fact-checking for university students across all governorates in the Kingdom.
During the visit, the institute's team presented materials to students in an interactive format, covering topics such as types of information and how to handle it, steps in media literacy, rules and ethics of photography, and distinguishing real photos and videos from misleading ones.
