The Water and Green Environment Section at CDSD supervised Planting Almond Tree Initiative led by Magdeburg-Stendal University, the strategic partner of the German Jordanian University (GJU), the two universities celebrated the planting of a number of almond trees on the GJU campus, as part of an effort to promote sustainability and a greener environment.
This step comes as a reaffirmation of the strong and longstanding academic partnership between the two institutions, with Magdeburg-Stendal University presenting the trees as a symbol of continued collaboration and future growth.
The initiative reflects the commitment of both universities to promoting environmental awareness, improving the campus environment, and expanding green spaces in support of sustainable development efforts. It also encourages student-led initiatives aimed at serving the community and the environment.
