Projects and Events
CDSD oversaw the 2025 general maintenance work at both the main campus and the Jabal Amman campus, in accordance with the necessary inspection requirements for maintaining campus infrastructure.
The Campus Development and Sustainability Department oversaw the expansion works of Building (C) to increase the number of teaching rooms in the building, which included adding a new floor to increase the number of teaching halls in the building, equipped with modern furniture and Data Show devices.
CDSD has developed Parking Lot (H) to provide a comfortable and attractive outdoor space for students, a project executed by Hascon Contracting. This project aims to create a pleasant and inviting outdoor area for students to engage in their activities and enhance their university experience.
Replacing doors with electric ones in most buildings aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce resource consumption, and facilitate better access throughout the campus.

CDSD oversaw the renovation of the Technology, Research and Innovation Park (TRIP), which was inaugurated on November 12, 2024, under the patronage of King Abdullah II. The complex aims to enhance the university's leadership in technology and research at the German Jordanian University and contribute to scientific advancement in Jordan and support the Jordanian economy growth.
Campus Development and Sustainability Department oversaw the design and implementation of the Digital Fabrication Lab in Building C
CDSD supervised the maintenance project for the main waterwheel on the main Campus, which was implemented by Phi Contracting Company.
Campus Development and Sustainability Department supervised the new expansion of the Jabal Amman Campus.
The expansion included equipping the consultations and training center, and halls for start-up projects. The building will also provide modern training hall for student graduation projects, especially for postgraduate studies.
CDSD designed and supervised a Volleyball court on the main campus.

Three glass boxes were constructed in Jabal amman campus for multi purpose :
- German lounge at glass box 1
- Offices at glass box 2 .
- Multi purpose hall at glass box 3 .
- EDU-SYRIA LOUNGE .
- EY LOUNGE .
- Innovation Space .
Sports hall Building consists of :
- Deanship of student affairs .
- Main sports hall .
- Tennis hall .
- Gym hall .
- Squash hall .
This building is composed of elevated water tank with 500 m³ capacity, and underground water tank with 1200 m³ capacity. This tower has also cafeteria and exhibitions in the upper floors.

This building provides the whole campus with internet & network services. The ED designed an additional floor in this building in order to accommodate more departments.

This project contains two main buildings covered by natural cladding of local stones and connected with glass & steel links .The ED built a multipurpose hall on the roof (Link Area) between the two wings in order to use it as Exhibition Hall.

This School is composed of three wings with five stories covered by natural cladding of local stones. The stories are connected together with glass & steel links to maintain their strength on the long run. This building contains special laboratories, classrooms, computer labs, workshops, and theater. All of these facilities have enough space to be equipped with 100 staff members.
