Project Description:
The primary objective of this project financed by the GIZ is to build and develop the capacity for training GJU faculty members as well as students on climate-energy-economy modeling concepts and methods. This overall objective has been achieved by:
- Establishing an energy-economy modeling course curriculum and a respective research team.
- Strengthening of national capacities for developing and applying climate-energy-economy models to support evidence-based and sustainable climate and energy policymaking.
This project is financed by the GIZ as commissioned by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
