Biography

Prof. Malek Alsharairi is the Dean of the School of Management and Logistic Sciences since 2017. He a professor at the International Accounting Department. Prof. Alsharairi has an international teaching experience in both undergraduate and post-graduate courses at several universities in Jordan, UK and Germany.
His administrative service at university is also extensive and diverse in academia since he chairs and sits on several governance councils and committees and formerly served as a Department Head, Exchange Coordinator, a Center Director and a Vice Dean.
Prof. Alsharairi has been appointed as a member at the national Higher Commission of Public Accounting Profession, by a Ministerial Council Decision since October 2017, which is responsible to regulate and oversee the Public Accounting profession in Jordan. Further, he is on the Public Accountants Licensing and Examination Board.
Prof. Alsharairi is committed to research-led and practice-informed teaching. He is an IMA Campus Advocate (US) and a Fellow at Higher Education Academy (UK). Prof. Alsharairi has been awarded all academic degrees with Excellent ratings and he received several awards, honors and recognition from international institutions. He is a committed reviewer at several scholarly journals and a specialist at several professional training programs such as CMA.
