The childhood dream of Logistics Sciences student at the Business School, Mahmoud Al-Amri, came true when he participated in the Rotax Max Challenge motorsport championship.
Mahmoud says, "I had been going to these competitions with my relatives since I was a child in the fourth grade, and I became attached to this fun sport and decided that one day I would participate in one of these tournaments."
“Participating in these competitions is very expensive, but I was determined to achieve my dream, so I worked for a company for a full year to save the money needed to buy a car.”
Mahmoud stated that the biggest challenge for him at this stage was balancing between studying, attending lectures at the university, working in the company on the one hand, and adhering to training, but his focus on the greater goal made him even more committed.
“I am very happy with this achievement and I am now preparing for my German Year, but I will continue my passion for this sport and I would like to thank everyone who supported me in achieving my dream, especially mechanical engineer Saber Al-Masry.”
