The Community Service Club/ Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a workshop on life skills, featuring two sessions titled: "Discover Yourself and Watch Its Impact on Your Life" and "Trade Wisely", in collaboration with the university's partner, We Different.
The first session focused on understanding life as a system to help students shape their paths within their social and cultural surroundings. It emphasized discovering personal missions by enhancing deep thinking and self-reflection skills, exploring personal meanings in life, and offering practical solutions to overcome obstacles.
The second session, with an educational approach, was titled "Trade Wisely: Understanding Loss and the Impact of Self-Control and Greed." It addressed common causes of financial losses in trading markets and strategies to avoid them, while highlighting how greed affects decision-making in trading. Real-life examples were provided to teach participants practical techniques for managing negative emotions like anxiety and greed during trading operations.
The session concluded with practical advice for traders to avoid common mistakes caused by greed or a lack of self-discipline.
The Community Service Club is dedicated to hosting educational sessions aimed at developing and refining students’ personal and life skills, integrating them into their academic and professional lives, and guiding them to make sound decisions.
