Dina Omar, an Industrial Engineering student from the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), achieved an impressive 9th place finish in the Red Sea Half Marathon recently held in Aqaba.
The event, organized by the Jordanian Marathon Association, "Run Jordan," was held under the theme "Run for a Noble Cause."
This sporting event, now in its 18th year, was held under the patronage of His Highness Prince Firas Bin Raad. The marathon continues the association’s mission of promoting the importance of sports, healthy living, and supporting charitable organizations.
Notably, 20% of the ticket profits were dedicated to supporting the people of Gaza through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, adding a humanitarian dimension to this national event.
