Mecca and Medina- 5 to 13 February 2025
The Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a trip for male students to the holy lands of Mecca and Medina to perform Umrah rituals during the semester break from February 5 to 13, 2025, as part of its commitment to enhancing the students’ cultural and spiritual experiences.
The students performed Umrah rituals, accompanied by Supervisor Tariq Masoud, representative of the DSA. They also visited some important Islamic landmarks such as, the Holy Mosque of Mecca, the Prophet’s Mosque Mount Arafat Quba Mosque and other holy places.
Students had the chance to deepen their understanding of Islamic heritage, expressing their great happiness at having this opportunity and the university’s support for initiatives that promote personal and cultural development outside the academic field.
