Creative Arts for Social Cohesion and Well-Being: An Interactive Forum

Project Description:
Hosted by the German Jordanian University (GJU) and funded by GIZ, this two-day forum brings together creative arts practitioners, social workers, academics, students, and researchers to explore the role of the arts in promoting social cohesion and well-being.
Through panels, workshops, talks, and collaborative art-making, the forum fosters cross-cultural collaboration, professional development, and creative exchange.
Objectives:
- Equip practitioners with innovative tools and methodologies
- Strengthen professional networks
- Highlight the role of arts in addressing societal challenges
- Explore ways to evaluate and document creative impact
This project is part of GIZ’s programme on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in the Middle East, and is financed by the GIZ as commissioned by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
