Funding Agency: The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)

Project Description:

The Technology, Research, and Innovation Park (TRIP) at GJU is a pioneering initiative dedicated to advancing Jordan’s economic growth, employment, and global competitiveness. Supported by a grant, TRIP fosters collaboration between academia, industry, and government to transform innovative research into real-world solutions.

Focused on cutting-edge fields like Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), green energy, robotics, and nanotechnology, TRIP offers state-of-the-art labs and research hubs that address both national and global challenges. By supporting startups, facilitating technology transfer, and connecting entrepreneurs with incubators and accelerators, TRIP drives economic diversification and strengthens small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

TRIP builds on GJU’s strong international partnerships and multidisciplinary academic resources, creating an integrated ecosystem that nurtures creativity, knowledge exchange, and sustainable growth. Through these efforts, TRIP aims to position Jordan as a regional leader in science and technology, fueling innovation-driven development and providing meaningful job opportunities for Jordanian youth.
