The Campus Development and Sustainability Department, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in Madaba, organized a practical exercise to simulate a mock fire at the university. The training witnessed a virtual fire breaking out in the building, where the necessary procedures for extinguishing the fire and evacuating the injured and detainees were reviewed.
As a result of a leak of chemicals at the site, the Hazardous Materials and Laboratory Testing Team was called for rapid intervention to address the situation and secure the site. This training aims to raise the level of preparedness and enhance coordination between the university and the competent authorities in confronting disasters and emergencies, in addition to training staff and students to deal with such incidents effectively.
