Project Description:
The Ta’ziz Partnership – Short-term Measures: Circular Economy of Citrus Farming (CE-CF) project aims to support the sustainable transformation of Jordan’s citrus sector through circular economy approaches, innovation, and German-Jordanian cooperation. The project focuses on reducing agricultural waste, promoting resource-efficient farming practices, and developing sustainable business opportunities, including value-added citrus products and green entrepreneurship.
Through collaboration between German Jordanian University and University of Duisburg-Essen, the project will enhance knowledge exchange, strengthen academic and technical capacities, and integrate sustainability and circular economy concepts into education and training. It supports students, researchers, and entrepreneurs in developing innovative solutions that contribute to environmental protection, economic growth, and youth employment in Jordan’s agricultural sector.
This project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) using funds from the German Federal Foreign Office (AA).
