The School of Basic Sciences and Humanities at the German Jordanian University (GJU) recently announced that a position has been filled within the school.
Dr Inshad Jum'h, Assistant Professor of Physics, has been named Associate Dean, Basic Sciences, for the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities and will manage operations at all levels of the school and its faculty. Despite her very successful research path, it was at Dr Inshad interest, with authorisation from the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities Deanship, that her appointment is engaged to administration and management streams. Her area of expertise is in optical and polymeric physics, with research interest that include nanoparticles and water treatment. She has authored and contributed to numerous academic articles, papers and proceedings in the area of optical and polymeric physics. Dr Inshad’s excellent record of research funding, her engagement with international and national research collaborators, and her leadership on female in science, and academic integrity issues, together with her faculty experience of both research stream and the educational leadership stream, make her exceptional candidate for the role of Associate Dean, Basic Sciences.
