A certified copy of the certificate of equivalency issued by the Ministry of Education for students who completed their high school requirements in Arab countries or who were enrolled in foreign high school programs (IB, IGCSE/GCE, HSD & SAT II).
• Two recent passport-size personal photos, Kindly write your name on the back of the photos.
• A certified copy of the personal ID from the Civil Status department and a copy of your passport data page (for Jordanians), or a certified copy of your foreign passport from the country’s embassy in Jordan (for non-Jordanians).

Pre-Year Requirements:

For the B.A. Social Work students need the General Secondary Certificate (Jordanian Tawjihi) or any other equivalent certificate. Degree: 70%

For the B.Eng. Hydrogen Technology students need the General Secondary Certificate (Jordanian Tawjihi) or any other equivalent certificate. Degree: 80%

Demonstrating proficiency B2 in the English language is mandatory, either through the submission of official certifications such as TOEFL or IELTS, or by taking the GJU examination in the event that an official certificate cannot be provided.

• The general university entrance qualification for German universities of applied sciences.

• The subject-related university entrance qualification (also conveyed by the GJU pre-year).

Admission Requirements for the Joint PhD Program in German as a Foreign Language

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum rating of good (or equivalent) and a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum rating of good (or equivalent). All degrees must be granted from universities recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan.
• He/she shall prove that his/her study was regular for both the bachelor’s and master’s degrees. 

Additional Admission Requirements

• Demonstrating interest in the German language and culture, and in teaching German language and culture.
• Other criteria upon the suggestion of the Department Council and a recommendation of the Graduate Studies Council and a Deans's Council decision, such as academic behavior.
• A Master’s thesis rated very good or excellent, or comparable scientific work (articles, research papers, conference papers, etc.).
• A 10–20 page Exposé detailing a clearly defined and manageable research question, a summary of the state-of-the-art status of research in the appropriate field, the proposed methodology, an outlook on the estimated results, a list of crucial references, and a timeline.
• German Language skills are to be verified through the official German Language exams TestDaF 4x4 (or 16, cumulative).
• Successful completion of oral readiness exam.
