Dr. Ahmad Barghash
Barghash is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the German Jordanian University. His research interests are in biodata science and machine learning algorithms – such as: development and application of computational techniques in data sets to aid cancer analysis and identification of potential drug targets Functional prediction and classification of proteins (such as membrane transporters) and proteins in biofilms etc.) - mapping differential gene expression to potential epigenetic modifications at gene and exon levels.
Barghash holds a Ph.D. in Information Science and a Master's in Bioinformatics from Saarland University - Germany, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University.
Since 2015, Dr. Barghash has been the head of the admission and registration unit at the university.
