Language Support – DaF@GATE (German Language Online)
In recognition of the growing need for language skills in transnational academic and professional settings, Online GATE offers DaF@GATE—a flexible, high-quality online German language programme provided by GJU’s German Language Center.
The programme is designed for students who aim to:
• Transition into German-taught academic programmes
• Pursue study or internship opportunities in Germany
• Work with German-speaking employers or within the German labour market
Courses are offered from CEFR levels A1.1 to B2, with content tailored to support both academic progression and professional integration. The teaching model combines asynchronous learning for maximum flexibility with synchronous live sessions scheduled across time zones. All sessions are recorded and remain available throughout the semester. In addition to general language development, the programme emphasises communication skills and technical terminology relevant to the student’s field of study. Preparation for external certifications such as TestDaF is integrated.
