Ms. Laila Abu-Sharkh

I have extensive teaching experience in English language and literature at the university level. I have worked as a full-time lecturer at Philadelphia University, Middle East University, and Queen Alia College, and as a part-time or adjunct lecturer at the University of Jordan, Petra University, and the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). At Philadelphia University, I taught a wide range of courses, including English Communication Skills, Remedial English, Advanced Reading, Introduction to Translation, and Legal Studies in English/French. I also served as course coordinator for several English communication courses. In addition to teaching, I have served on and chaired a few university committees, including the Translation Committee and the Library and Information Resources Committee. I have also contributed to university initiatives through translation, English-language content development, formal correspondence with foreign institutions, and the establishment of a Virtual English Club for students.
