RSCE has set long-term goals in its vision focusing on the contribution to improving Jordan's road safety when using the road transport systems. Jordan's road safety endeavors need a lot of support that is based on an informed framework, especially that the number of fatalities and injuries on the roads is not witnessing noticeable improvements despite the efforts that have been going on for years.

The Global trend is to achieve zero fatalities on roads by 2050. This gives Jordan around 30 years to accomplish this task. A continuation at the current level of road fatalities and injuries on Jordanian roads per year would be very unfortunate especially that the socio-economic costs of millions of JODs is a major burden to the Jordanian economy.

Therefore, there is a rising need for intensified efforts that aim at enhancing road safety in Jordan. In this context, innovation and research are vital factors.

Projects that aim at responding to these urgent needs should encourage road users to engage in the process. RSCE aims at establishing the basis for a wide scope of work that addresses all the vital elements of the road transport system, including all road transport modes and all phases from preventive measures to post-crash safety.

To achieve this vision RSCE conducts:
