Bachelor of Engineering Science
The Bachelor's degree program in Engineering Science at the (THWS) is an interdisciplinary and international online program that spans seven semesters. It offers a broad education combining mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and business and engineering. In the first three semesters, students build foundational knowledge in mathematics, physics, IT, programming, and core engineering subjects. From the fourth semester, students can specialize online in Industrial and Systems Engineering or switch to on-campus studies for other specializations. The program includes a practical internship semester where students gain real-world experience in companies or research institutions, including opportunities to complete internships abroad to enhance intercultural skills.
Bachelor of Science in Health & Environmental Psychology
An interdisciplinary program exploring the relationship between psychology, health, and environmental behavior. It prepares students for careers in health promotion, policy-making, sustainability, and crisis management. Completely online and conducted in English, the program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical tools to tackle complex health and environmental issues on a global scale.
To support academic progression, Online GATE provides a clear pathway from the Pre-Year to the Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, optional German language support is available through DaF@GATE, helping students develop language skills that may enhance their future academic or professional mobility.

To ensure a smooth transition into the fully online Bachelor's degree programmes offered by THWS, we provide a comprehensive Pre-Year programme, hosted and delivered by GJU.
Designed to meet the academic and admission requirements of German universities, the Pre-Year serves as the equivalent of the first academic year. It is tailored for students who do not yet meet the qualifications for direct entry and supports both Jordanian and international learners in building a strong foundation for their future studies.

The Pre-Year is delivered entirely online by GJU, eliminating the need for relocation while maintaining the academic rigour expected of German degree programmes. Students participate in structured coursework and benefit from continuous guidance by qualified faculty.
2. Discipline-Specific Tracks
The Pre-Year includes dedicated tracks for each programme, providing a strong academic base relevant to the chosen field of study:
- Engineering Science Track :Modules include: Engineering Economics, Physics I & II, Calculus I & II, Applied Math for Engineers, Computing Fundamentals, Computer-Aided Drawing, and Technical Writing & Engineering Ethics.
- Psychology Track : Modules include: Introduction to Psychology, General Psychology, Health Psychology I & II, Environmental Psychology I & II, Interdisciplinary Perspectives, Research Methods and Academic Writing, Counselling Skills, and Biological Psychology.
3. Pathway to THWS Admission
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Year, students are eligible for admission into the relevant Bachelor's programmes at THWS. This ensures a clear academic progression and recognition of completed coursework.
4. No On-Campus Requirements
The programme is designed for maximum flexibility, especially for students in crisis contexts or those balancing other commitments. All modules, interactions, and assessments are conducted online.
