The computer center took the full responsibility to migrate the data center from the temporary campus in Jubaihah to the main campus in Madaba. The migration process required: shutting down all services (e.g., E-Mail, Intranet, E-Leraning, Eduwave, ERP); de-assembling and packaging all the hardware (e.g., cabinets, servers, storage, switches); moving, loading and unloading all the equipment; assembling all the equipment in the new data center; re-starting and testing all the services.

The migration started on a Friday morning to reduce the effect of the downtime on our work as much as possible. The task was completed successfully the next day and all services were up and running without any major issues.
