The German Jordanian University (GJU) has officially established its student chapter of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), marking a new step toward expanding opportunities for students to engage with the field of industrial and systems engineering beyond the classroom.

This chapter is led by President Zaid Al-Dabaibeh under the guidance of Faculty Advisor Dr. Ahmad Al Majali. It aims to provide students with a platform to develop their technical knowledge, strengthen their problem-solving and leadership skills, and explore the practical applications of industrial and systems engineering across different industries.

Through planned initiatives such as engineering hackathons, technical workshops, industrial field trips, networking events, and professional development activities, the chapter seeks to connect academic learning with real-world engineering challenges while fostering innovation, teamwork, and collaboration among students.

As a newly established chapter, IISE at GJU looks forward to building partnerships with industry professionals and organizations, creating opportunities for experiential learning, and encouraging students to explore emerging technologies and innovative approaches to engineering and systems optimization.

The establishment of the chapter reflects GJU’s commitment to enriching the student experience, promoting practical learning, and preparing future engineers to address complex challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.
