Experience

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have actively served as a UN national consultant, providing technical assistance for scaling up energy efficiency programs in Jordan and the broader Arab region. Furthermore, I am Principal Investigator (PI) for international projects with hundreds of thousands of budgets, including "Advice and support of bilateral Energy partnerships with developing and Emerging countries - Jordan," the Energy Academy in Jordan, and the Energy Innovation Platform (EIP) funded by the GIZ, and the "Climate Change Resilient Cities (CLIC)" project, funded by the DAAD. Nexus research project "Key drivers for technology innovation to improve water, energy, and food security in Jordan is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Between GJU and the German Universities, these initiatives and projects enable me to contribute significantly to bilateral energy partnerships and foster resilient urban planning in the face of climate change challenges.
